Today we continue with the promotion of the project puppets in the community, the central idea is to carry out a workshop of manufacture of puppets and manipulation directed to children of scarce resources in neighborhoods where the indexes of violence are the daily bread.
I have worked all my life in the cultural field and I have always been in contact with marginalized areas in the state seems to have forgotten that there are people. The logic of sites of extreme violence is the economic precariousness in which these families live.
My intention with this workshop is to move children away from bad habits and try to heal the problems generated by family violence, children who grow up with hatreds and resentments that then imitate patterns of criminal behavior and thus generate a vicious circle of hostility. By being in contact with the workshop, the children can learn various techniques that will provide them with integrity, an organization that will allow them to move forward in this dark world towards becoming good people.
It is no secret to anyone the transforming power of art and how it has changed the lives of millions of people, the puppet theater being one of more effective teaching tools to work with children I have no alternative but to make this a lifestyle, and I am really pleased with it.
I have noticed that many publications are overlooked, i.e. I am not being organic enough, or there are people who read my entries in silence. I would like you to contribute something that gives me suggestions. Not everything is perfect, of something I am sure I am not perfect and as a human there are certain things I can overlook.
Cheer up and ask what you want about the project, I think I have been transparent enough with the first workshop, with the purchase of materials and the way in which I develop the classes from beginning to end.
