Okay, this, for me is the hard part. I have troubles sleeping through the night so I end up waking up late. However, those rare times that I have a sound sleep, and feel great upon waking up, I try to maximize the mornings.
Let us declare that. Claim it, think it, and focus our energy into it. What best way to feel it, but to get out there and be one with a peaceful environment?


... Or any long walks, for that matter..
I get the exercise I truly lack. Well, it's a no brainer, brisk walks are a great way to get our bodies moving and the heart pumping! The past months, I have been so sedentary, my body actually missed the activity.
Close to nature. I love the scent of the grass being mowed, even the smell of soil getting wet! It may be weird for some, but I love it.
Inspiration. When I see other people who work so hard to train, I get motivated. Most faces I see around the park are familiar faces who train and/or exercise there almost daily. Some are even grannies! If they can do it, why can't I? (I know! I know! coz I'm lazy! 😴)
My "ME" Time. I normally go for walks/jog alone, while the kids stay at home. So for me, a long walk (even for just and hour or an hour and a half), is precious. I get to declutter my brain, I feel serene, I can think. It does so much for my sanity!
For me, these moments are something I need, and so I have to see that I do this activity at least 3x a week. Heck, I used to do it 6 or 7x a week!
Life is short, and beautiful. Let's stress and fret too much about things not within our control.
Let's stop and smell (take a pic of) the flowers from time to time too, shall we?
