It's almost been three years.

It's been almost three years of out of whack sleep schedule due to my working with a 14-hr time difference. For three years my mind is almost always calculating between three timezones - home 馃嚘馃嚜, work 馃嚭馃嚫, and home 馃嚨馃嚟. No doubt, my body is now complaining.

Last night, I asked for a day off at work because my headache was too bad. My bp shot up, and I just know my body jeeds proper rest. And rest, indeed, was what I needed. I woke up feeling refreshed, and had the energy to welcome the sunrise.

I headed out for a walk, dragging my husband along. We noticed that they already opened up this section of bikers' lane. Flowering plants lined up the sides, making it look brighter.

We walked all the way to the Al Nahyan Park. There were a few guys playing basketball at there.

We turned and ran a few hundred meters before walking back home.

It was a brief walk, barely 40 minutes, but I felt I needed to do more of it especially now that the weather is getting cooler.

I barely took any photos for today's walk. I just enjoyed it, and the conversations with my husband.

So let me just share this random AI generated photo using a poem we studied in our homeschool recently.

The rest of the day was just spent at home cooking and homeschooling. Now, I gotta finish this post so I can start my day at work. 馃ゲ At least, it's already Friday.

Hopefully, I will get enough rest this coming weekend. I really need that reset button. 馃ゴ馃樀

How about you, how are you? I hope you're all safe and healthy!

Cheers,
