***GOD BLESS YOU GREATLY BELOVED STEEMCHURCH BROTHERS ***
In the Old Testament the priests had to enter the temple again and again to make sacrifices for the sins of the people. There were no seats in the temple for them because another sacrifice was always required. But when Jesus was crucified, He said on the cross, "it's over." He was talking about the ancient way in which sacrifices were constantly offered to obtain forgiveness. " The scripture says, "But Christ, having once offered a once-for-all sacrifice for sins, has sat down at the right hand of God" (Hebrews 10:12). The sitting is a picture of perfect rest. The Apostle Paul tells us about that beauty: "We are sitting with Christ in heavenly places" (Ephesians 2: 6)
There is a rest seat that belongs to you. You do not need to constantly go through life trying to fix the mistakes of the past, anguished by your finances, trying to make a family member do the right thing, frustrating you because a dream has not been realized. Do yourself a favor and take your seat. Enter that rest. When you sit down, you are at peace. Maybe you have problems but you know that God is fighting your battles. People may have paid you wrong, but you are not trying to repay evil. You know that God will transform your mistakes into something good. You may be circling worried about your illness, or instead, you can sit still. You know that God has you in the palm of your hand.
FUENTE
David said in Psalm 27, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Who will I fear? ... Because he will hide me in his tabernacle in the day of evil; He will hide me in the secrecy of his dwelling; He was saying "I can be worried and upset, but I know a secret. The battle is not mine; the battle is from the Lord, so I'm going to take my seat. "When you want to make things happen in your strength, you are standing, ready to speak, while you keep working, He will be resting. But when you sit down, God stands and works. That is why He says: "Be still and know that I am God." He is saying "Sit down. I have this under control. I am bigger than your enemies. "
It is not sitting passively. We have to fight the good battle. We must be responsible, believe, pray and dream, but we must do that from the place of rest. You can work hard but resting internally, knowing that you are doing the best, and God will take you where you are supposed to go. God is saying "Take a seat. My favor is in your life. Live in a place of rest ".
