Lesson #1. A sincere worshiper is willing to spend time, money, and effort to serve the Lord (Matthew 2:1).
The wise men came from afar,
in caravan, with servants following the star;
trailing dust, mud, rocks for months but enthralled,
time, bucks, sweat spent yet never appalled.
Lesson #2. Giving is an integral part of worship (Matthew 2:11).
Gold, frankincense, myrrh they bring,
gold befits honor to the Messiah, the King;
myrrh points to the Savior’s sacrificial offering,
frankincense for the Priest of earth and heav’n.
Lesson #3. There is real joy in worshiping the Lord (Matthew 2:10).
Praises, glory, and honor!
Oh! The wise men knelt humbly before the Savior;
blessed opportunity, dream fulfilled!
Yes! Blissful worship, the wise men offered.
