"Scarlet Sails" is a St. Petersburg tradition that was laid back in 1968. The holiday was held 10 times - from 1968 to 1979 (in 1977 it was not held), and then the tradition was interrupted until 2005, when thanks to the efforts of the joint-stock bank "Russia", the government of St. Petersburg and the Fifth Channel "Scarlet Sails" returned to our city.

And exactly at 00.40 began the famous multimedia show in the water area of the Neva River with the participation of the Swedish sailing ship Tre Kronor ("Three Crowns"), which, with the sounds of the orchestra and the lights of hundreds of fireworks, majestically passed along the Neva under scarlet sails.
