Since ancient times Aceh was known to have strong customs and culture in daily life.
Aceh has many artistic cultures, the traditional dances of Aceh Ratoh Duek and the Saman Wanita Dance are the two most popular Acehnese arts dances in Acehnese society. Both dances are performed by women in an even number and are usually held at ceremonial events or art events.
The residents are very enthusiastic to watch the dance art of aceh culture that is now rarely done.
In Ratoh Duek and Saman Dance played by women, they perform various movements in a sitting position kneeling while occasionally getting up from sitting and standing on their knees.
The dancers also occasionally bend their bodies until their heads almost touch the floor. The female dancer in this video also sings a song while dancing patting her chest, snapping her finger and shaking her head.
Hopefully with this traditional dance of Aceh dance can entertain our friends and hopefully useful for all of us and let us preserve the art of Aceh culture.
