Wild bay

Hi all guys and welcome back to my blog. After the watercolor I posted yesterday in which the seascape had abstract characteristics, today I am sharing a watercolor painting with a classic composition. As you can see, it is a simple seascape that has as its protagonist a very wild inlet and promontory.

The painting is very much turned to warm colors, ocher yellow mixed with green and burnt sienna give a very decisive look with dark brown shadows. I also colored the white of the clouds slightly yellow to give a sense of warmth to the sky that I kept very clear.

To stay in tone with the painting, I painted the waves in the foreground green with the splashes of the water left white.

Baia selvaggia

Ciao a tutti ragazzi e ben tornati sul mio blog. Dopo l'acquarello che ho postato ieri nel quale il paesaggio marino aveva delle caratteristiche astratte, oggi torno a condividere un dipinto ad acquarello dalla composizione classica. Come potete vederesi tratta di un semplice paesaggio marino che ha come protagonista un'insenatura ed un promontorio molto selvaggi.

Il dipinto è molto virato ai colori caldi, il giallo ocra mescolato al verde e alla terra di Siena bruciata danno un aspetto molto deciso con le ombre scure marroni. Ho colorato leggermente di giallo anche il bianco delle nuvole per dare un senso di calore al cielo che ho tenuto molto chiaro.

Per rimanere in tono con il dipinto ho dipinto le onde in primo piano di colore verde con gli schizzi dell'acqua lasciati bianchi.
