Toward the sky - watercolor on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a glimpse representing a corner view of a medieval tower. I tried to carefully depict the ancient parts and the materials with which it is built such as stones and bricks and the wooden roof.

With purple and brown, I highlighted the shadows of the ancient buildings to achieve a more solid volume to the composition.

I wanted to paint the sky with a cerulean blue color to highlight the structure of the tower and make it stand out upward.

Verso il cielo - acquarello su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido uno scorcio che rappresenta una vista angolare di una torre medievale. Ho cercato di raffigurare con cura le parti antiche ed i materiali con la quale è costruita come ad esempio le pietre ed i mattoni ed il tetto in legno. Con il viola e il marrone ho messo il risalto le ombre degli edifici antichi per ottenere un volume più solido alla composizione. Ho voluto dipingere il cielo con un colore blu ceruleo per mettere in risalto la struttura della torre e farla emergere verso l'alto. Vi lascio gli steps del processo creativo e mi auguro che il dipinto vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio di pietra e mattoni.
