The abandoned window - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. The watercolour painting I am presenting today is a glimpse I imagined to highlight the resilience of nature. The composition is very simple, an old, broken and abandoned window with some plants in pots and creepers full of vitality.

I carefully painted the broken wooden shutters and the exposed stones on the wall to highlight the passage of time.

And just as carefully I painted the vines, leaves and flowers that continue to live on the windowsill and along the wall.

In conclusion I tried to portray a scene with the contrast between abandonment and vitality, in short a colourful play with the death of objects and the life of nature.

La finestra abbandonata - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Il dipinto ad acquarello che vi presento oggi è uno scorcio che ho immaginato per evidenziare la resilienza della natura. La composizione è molto semplice, una vecchia finestra rotta e abbandonata con alcune piante nei vasi e rampicanti pieni di vitalità. Ho dipinto con cura le imposte di legno rotte e le pietre a vista del muro per far risaltare il trascorrere del tempo. E con altrettanta attenzione ho dipinto i rampicanti, le foglie ed i fiori che continuano a vivere sul davanzale e lungo il muro. In conclusione ho cercato di rappresentare una scena con il contrasto tra l'abbandono e la vitalità, insomma un gioco colorato con la morte degli oggetti e la vita della natura.
