Surreal Regatta - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my latest watercolour painting depicting a surreal seascape.

As is often the case with me, I did the subject without drawing, and mostly by wetting the paper well.

I imagined a regatta course with very rarefied sailboats alternating with bright colours and the blues of the sea waves. The background is a succession of structures and arches delimiting the scene. I tried to portray the dynamism of the waves and the movement of the sailboats crossing each other.

Regata surreale - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo dipinto ad acquarello che rappresenta un paesaggio marino surreale. Ho immaginato un campo di regata con barche a vela molto rarefatte che si alternano a colori accesi con i blu delle onde del mare. Lo sfondo è un susseguirsi di strutture e di archi che delimitano la scena. Ho cercato di raffigurare la dinamicità del moto ondisi e del movimento delle barche a vela che si incrociano tra loro. Vi lascio tutti gli steps del processo creativo e mi auguro che vi piaccia il mio dipinto.
