Surreal illuminations - watercolor on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a large format watercolor painting depicting a lighthouse in the rough sea.

I am very fascinated by lonely lighthouses in the immensity of the sea and also this time I tried to depict a surreal scenario, namely the lighthouse that is illuminated by the sun or itself illuminating the space around it.

I liked the idea of making a watercolor with oriental lines, such as the shapes of the waves and the bright colors of the lighthouse,

so I came up with this very fantasy scene and I hope you enjoy it.

I leave you all the steps of the long creative process and send you a very sunlit hug.

Armando.
