Reflections at Sunset - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a romantic landscape depicting sailboats with their reflections on the water at sunset. I chose colours that alternate between the cold tones of the sky and the warm tones of the sunset.

To colour the sky I used violet and cerulean blue also mixed together and some patches of violet in the air.

For the patches of vegetation on the horizon I mainly used warm tones on the very wet paper.

Finally, I took care of the boats, their hulls, sails and reflections to achieve a romantic effect on the water.

Riflessi al tramonto - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un paesaggio romantico che raffigura delle barche a vela con i loro riflessi sull'acqua al tramonto. Ho scelto dei colori che si alternano tra i toni freddi del cielo e le tonalità calde del tramonto. Per colorare il cielo ho usato il viola e il blu ceruleo anche mescolati tra loro ed alcune macchie di violetto nell'aria. Per le macchie di vegetazione sull'orizzonte ho usato prevalentemente toni caldi sul foglio molto bagnato. Infine ho curato con attenzione le barche, i loro scafi le vele e i loro riflessi per ottenere un effetto romantico sull'acqua.
