Quiet bay - watercolor on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my watercolor painting depicting a seascape. I depicted a large rock in a bay with calm sea full of shades of blue and green.

I was especially interested in painting the quality of shadows on both the large rock and the mountains around the bay.

I tried to play with the play of light on the walls of the mountains and on the sand, looking for a diffuse brightness over the whole landscape.

Baia tranquilla - acquarello su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio dipinto ad acquarello che rappresenta un paesaggio marino. Ho raffigurato un grande scoglio in una baia con mare calmo e pieno di sfumature di blu e verde.

Mi sono interessato soprattutto a dipingere la qualità delle ombre sia sul grande scoglio che sulle montagne intorno alla baia.

Ho cercato di giocare con i giochi di luce sulle pareti delle montagne e sulla sabbia, cercando una luminosità diffusa su tutto il paesaggio.

Spero vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio dalla baia.
