Lighthouse sunrise - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today's painting is also dedicated to my search for the representation of the sea through landscape and light. I depicted a foreshortening with a small marina, some boats and a lighthouse in the foreground. The 'atmosphere I have tried to create is that of the spread of the light of a sunrise radiating from the horizon. For the sky and the light I worked a lot on wet paper to achieve vaporized effects, while the rest was painted with the classic painting technique.

Alba del faro - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Anche il dipinto di oggi è dedicato alla mia ricerca della rappresentazione del mare attraverso il paesaggio e luce. Ho raffigurato uno scorcio con un piccolo porticciolo, alcune barche ed un faro in primo piano. L' atmosfera che ho cercato di creare è quella della diffusione della luce di un'alba che si irradia dall'orizzonte. Per il cielo e la luce ho lavorato molto sulla carta bagnata per ottenere effetti vaporizzati, mentre il resto è stato dipinto con la classica tecnica pittorica.
