Full moon night - watercolor on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my latest watercolor depicting a journey through the night. As you can see I chose to paint a subject dear to me, two sailboats in racing trim. A metaphor for the journey of life through sport on a full moon night.

After painting with the basic colors of the seascape subjects, I intervened with dark tones of deep blue to render the night atmosphere.

To give more intensity to the journey I colored the men in red uniforms.

As you can see I left the light colors of the full moon to give the right lighting to the foam of the sea waves and the landscape.

I hope you like it, I send you a hug from the deep blue of the night.

Notte di luna piena - acquarello su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo acquarello che raffigura un viaggio nella notte. Come vedete ho scelto di dipingere un soggetto a me caro, due barche a vela in assetto di regata. Una metafora del viaggio della vita attraverso lo sport in una notte di luna piena.

Dopo aver dipinto con i colori di base dei soggetti del paesaggio marino sono intervenuto con i toni scuri di blu per rendere l'atmosfera notturna.

Per dare più intensità al viaggio ho colorato gli uomini con divise rosse.

Come potete vedere ho lasciato i colori chiari della luna piena per dare la giusta illuminazione alla schiuma delle onde del mare e al paesaggio.

Spero vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio dal blu profondo della notte.
