Ancient port

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. My daily post is an oil painting on canvas representing my idea of an ancient port. I painted in the foreground of the wooden boats moored with the reflections of the sea between green and white.
Behind them I wanted to make the scene full of bright vibrations with a multitude of not well defined buildings.
On the left side I tried to create a scene where the details of the ropes, the masts of the boats and the hawsers are themselves the protagonists.
As colors I preferred to use the warm tones of yellow ocher, orange and brown earths that contrast better with the cold tones of the sea.
I hope I have managed to give the idea of an ancient seaport. A hug to everyone and see you tomorrow for the next post.

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Il mio post giornaliero è un dipinto ad olio su tela che rappresenta una mia idea di un antico porto. Ho dipinto in primo piano delle barche in legno ormeggiate con i riflessi del mare tra il verde e il bianco.
Dietro di esse ho voluto rendere la scena ricca di vibrazioni luminose con una moltitudine di palazzi non ben definiti.
Sul lato sinistro ho cercato di realizzare una scena dove i particolari delle corde, degli alberi delle barche e delle gomene siano essi stessi i protagonisti.
Come colori ho preferito usare i toni caldi dei giallo ocra, delle terre arancioni e marroni che contrastano meglio con i toni freddi del mare.
Spero di essere riuscito a dare l'idea di un antico porto marinaro.
