Abandoned windows

Hello to all dear friends and welcome back to my blog.

Today I share with you a watercolor painting with its steps of realization.

The subject I took from a couple of photographs that I had aside, these are its abandoned windows.

When we look at abandoned houses or objects our imagination travels.

We build a story, and imagine those objects as they could have been in the times when they were new and available to everyone.

A charm of the past things of which we see the signs of time on them, signs that enrich them with new life.

They are objects that return to having a new identity, formed over the years and shaped by bad weather and nature, inanimate objects at least so it seems.

In my opinion, things left behind a soul have it without any doubt.

They have an exterior life full of scratches and new colors, designed by moss, mold, ivy, creepers, corrupted by the cold and the sun, repainted by the charm of the unstoppable passing of the days.

A new aesthetic that coincides with the age of abandoned objects, stimulating new stories in fantastic scenarios.

Finestre abbandonate

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.

Oggi condivido con voi un dipinto ad acquarello con i suoi passaggi della realizzazione.

Il soggetto l'ho preso da un paio di fotografie che avevo da parte, si tratta di sue finestre abbandonate.

Quando osserviamo le case o gli oggetti abbandonati la nostra immaginazione viaggia.

Ci costruiamo una storia, e immaginiamo quegli oggetti come potevano essere ai tempi in cui erano nuovi e a disposizione di tutti.

Un fascino delle cose trascorse di cui vediamo i segni del tempo su di esse, segni che le arricchiscono di nuova vita.

Sono oggetti che tornano ad avere una nuova identità, formatasi nel corso degli anni e plasmata dalle intemperie e dalla natura, oggetti inanimati almeno così sembra.

Secondo me le cose abbandonate un'anima ce l'hanno senza alcun dubbio.

Hanno una vita esteriore ricca di graffi e di nuovi colori, disegnata dal muschio, dalle muffe, dall'edera, dai rampicanti, corrotta dal freddo e dal sole, ridipinta dal fascino del inarrestabile trascorrere dei giorni.

Una nuova estetica che coincide con l'età degli oggetti abbandonati, stimolandoci nuove storie in scenari fantastici.
