En mis tiempos libres me gusta ver series. Mis favoritas son Friend, Aida, Game of Trhones y El inocente Soy fánatica de la comedia y el thriller. Mi pelicula favorita es White chick. También me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia. Soy muy apegada a ellos, principalmente a mi madre la cual es mi motor impulsor para ser cada día una mejor persona. Mi familia es numerosa tengo muchos primos y hermanos. Guardo demasiados recuerdos de mi niñez con ellos , principalmente las fiestas de fin de año , dónde siempre nos reunimos y cenamos juntos.
In my free time I like to watch series. My favorites are Friend, Aida, Game of Thrones and The Innocent I am a fan of comedy and thrillers. My favorite movie is White chick. I also like to spend time with my family. I am very attached to them, mainly to my mother who is my driving force to be a better person every day. My family is large I have many cousins and siblings. I keep too many memories of my childhood with them, mainly the end of year parties, where we always get together and have dinner together.
Soy ingeniera geóloga, estudié en la Universidad de Pinar del Río “Hermanos Saiz Montes de Oca”. Sin duda una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, donde conocí a personas que además de ser mis amigos se convirtieron en mi familia. En 5 años viví muchismas experiencias de las cuales podre contarles en un futuro a mis nietos. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer lugares muy lindos de la provincia como: Viñales, Las Terrazas y la Península de Guanahacabibes. Estudiar tan lejos de mi familia en otra provincia me brindó mucha madurez, aprendí a valerme por mi misma, principalmente cuando tenía las prácticas de campo dónde tenia que estar un mes fuera de mi casa. Gracias a la Universidad no solo salí con un título, también salí graduada de la vida. Otro regalo de la Universidad fue mi círculo de amigos. Nos convertimos en familia luego de vivir tantas experiencias juntos. Ahí comprendí que los amigos son la familia que elegimos y que son muy importantes en nuestra vida.
I am a geological engineer, I studied at the University of Pinar del Río "Hermanos Saiz Montes de Oca". Undoubtedly one of the best experiences of my life, where I met people who besides being my friends became my family. In 5 years I lived many experiences that I will be able to tell my grandchildren about in the future. I had the opportunity to visit beautiful places in the province such as Viñales, Las Terrazas and the Guanahacabibes Peninsula. Studying so far away from my family in another province gave me a lot of maturity, I learned to fend for myself, especially when I had the field practices where I had to be away from home for a month. Thanks to the University, I not only graduated with a degree, I also graduated from life. Another gift from college was my circle of friends. We became family after living so many experiences together. I realized that friends are the family we choose and that they are very important in our lives.
Me encanta mi carrera ya que es una ciencia que estudia los procesos endógenos y exógenos del planeta, su evolución y los elementos que la componen. También estudia todo lo relacionado con los recursos minerales y naturales, su explotación entre otras muchas cosas. Desde mi punto de vista es una de las ingenierías mas importantes para el desarrollo de una nación. Las ramas que mas me gustan de mi carrera son: La Geología Ambiental, la Ingeniería Geológica , la Hidrogeología , la Mineralogía y la Geoquímica. Mi tesis de grado fue sobre “Investigaciones ingeniero geológicas e hidrogeológicas con fines de diseño de redes de pozos de drenaje”, en la cual obtuve la máxima puntuación. El día de la graduación fue muy importante para mi. Pude convertirme en ingeniera y por fin todos los sacrificios de 5 años habían valido la pena. También estaba triste porque sabía que era el fin de un ciclo y que no vería a muchos de mis compañeros por un buen tiempo debido a que vivimos en diferentes provincias del país.
I love my career because it is a science that studies the endogenous and exogenous processes of the planet, its evolution and the elements that compose it. It also studies everything related to mineral and natural resources, their exploitation among many other things. From my point of view it is one of the most important engineering for the development of a nation. The branches that I like the most in my career are: Environmental Geology, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Mineralogy and Geochemistry. My graduation thesis was on "Engineering geological and hydrogeological investigations for the design of drainage well networks", in which I obtained the highest score. Graduation day was very important for me. I was able to become an engineer and finally all the sacrifices of 5 years had been worth it. I was also sad because I knew it was the end of a cycle and that I would not see many of my classmates for a long time because we live in different provinces of the country.
Actualmente trabajo en el Servicio Geológico de Cuba en el departamento de Geología Ambiental. Me estoy especializando en la Hidrogeología y la Geología Ambiental. He participado en varios proyectos como el estudio ambiental integral de la Cuenca Almendares y participado en eventos de gran importancia como el Congreso de Geología celebrado en el Palacio de las convenciones. En un futuro me gustaría especializarme en el estudio de las aguas minero–medicinales, termales y peloides. Me resulta muy interesante este tema y considero que es de suma importancia para la economía del país ya que pudiera incrementar su turismo medicinal.
Agradezco la oportunidad de formar parte de esta maravillosa familia de Hive, y espero poder compartir mis experiencias con ustedes, al mismo tiempo de poder aprender y crecer a nivel personal en este nuevo camino.
I am currently working at the Geological Survey of Cuba in the Environmental Geology department. I am specializing in Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology. I have participated in several projects such as the integral environmental study of the Almendares Basin and participated in events of great importance such as the Geology Congress held at the Palacio de las Convenciones. In the future I would like to specialize in the study of mineral-medicinal, thermal and peloid waters. I find this subject very interesting and I consider that it is of great importance for the country's economy since it could increase its medicinal tourism.
I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this wonderful family of Hive, and I hope to share my experiences with you, at the same time I can learn and grow personally in this new path.
