Saludos comunidad , en otras ocasiones les he hablado de mis experiencias en mis practicas de campo . Ahora les hablare de mi ultima practica de campo que las realice en cuarto año.

El cuarto año de carrera para mi fue el mas complicado ya que se ponia en practica todo lo que habíamos estudiado en los otros años , osea que aplicaríamos toda la teoría dada en antiguos semestres. En este año dimos asignaturas relacionadas con la explotación de los recursos naturales , como los minerales y el petroleo.

Al igual que en otras practicas debimos estar un mes fuera pero teníamos el doble de trabajo que realizar ya que teniamos mucho trabajo de gabinete. Ese año las practicas se realizan en el municipio pinareño de Santa Lucia debido a que hay muchos yacimientos tipo Sedex donde se explotan minerales de plomo y zinc.El objetivo era descubrir nuevas áreas de mineralización para futuras investigaciones y explotación en el área de Santa lucia .

En ese mes aprendí muchísimo porque ya era una práctica de mayor rigor , ya estábamos investigando algo que serviría de guía para futuros proyectos. También pude visitar la Empresa Minera del Caribe(EMINCAR) donde pudimos observar las canteras y como se trabaja en ella , vimos los testigos de las perforaciones y fue una experiencia increíble donde ya nos sentíamos ingenieros.

Tambien visitamos las antiguas minas de Matahambre y nos contaron toda la historia de la misma fue maravilloso . En los últimos días nos dieron la noticia que nos llevaban de excursión al Cayo Jutía un lugar increíble el cual posee unas playas vírgenes súper preciosas. A pesar de ser un mes de mucho trabajo guardo esas practicas con mucho cariño en mi mente ya que me sentía toda una profesional y me sirvió de experiencia para mi futuro laboral.

That year the internship took place in the Pinar del Río municipality of Santa Lucia because there are many Sedex type deposits where lead and zinc ores are exploited, the objective was to discover new areas of mineralization for future research and exploitation in the Santa Lucia area.

In that month I learned a lot because it was already a more rigorous practice, we were already investigating something that would serve as a guide for future projects. I was also able to visit the Empresa Minera del Caribe (EMINCAR) where we were able to observe the quarries and how they work, we saw the drill core and it was an incredible experience where we already felt like engineers.

We also visited the old mines of Matahambre and they told us all the history of the mine, it was wonderful. In the last days we got the news that they were taking us on an excursion to Cayo Jutía, an incredible place with beautiful virgin beaches. In spite of being a month of hard work, I keep those internships with a lot of affection in my mind because I felt like a professional and it served me as experience for my future work.
