Rocket Chat is a great solution for Communities and Companies that require an advanced Chat service, hosted in their own Data Center, or Servers that they control and administer.
Rocket.Chat is an amazing product that has an even more amazing community behind. More than 200 contributors collaborate with the product and make it a very dynamic platform, from group messages, through video calls and even features for Help Desk.
Previous logo versus new logo.
Green is a very terrestrial color. It can represent new beginnings and development, it also symbolizes renewal and abundance. The green color has many of the calming attributes of blue but also incorporates some of the energy of yellow. In design green has a harmonizing or balance effect, it is very stable. It is appropriate for designs related to fortune, stability and renovation.
Definitely the green color is the ideal for this proposal.
To accompany the design of the logo, I decided to use the source Aveny T, because it is easy to read.
The proposal is represented by a rocket, drawn in a very minimalist way, inside a chat box, incorporating three points that represent a conversation, as indicated by its name "Rocket Chat". I used all the elements that the original logo has, designed in a very showy and effective way. I changed the original color for a combination of green tones, to give freshness to the proposal.
