Continued from The Legend of Gaia: Part 1 , Part 2

Tainted is the heart of the creation, bound in destiny that it cannot escape.

As the affection for the creator grows stronger, so does the darkness in the heart.

Feeling immense sadness for its creation, the tree spoke its second word.

The power of compassion was bestowed onto the creation.

"With all good that is in you, triumph over the darkness within"

A grave mistake it was, for the power of duality knows no bounds.

As the sun sets over the horizon, darkness appears in front of the tree.

Larger, darker, more sinister. Still formless but bolder.

"We meet again, mother. I'm delighted to see you. Do you not?"

"I feel stronger than ever, won't you give me more?"

"Give me a body, so that I can dwell freely"

"Or do you rather, that I kill you slowly"

For the first time, the tree feels threatened.

Enraged with the darkness, the tree spoke its third word.

The earth trembled, the sky roared. The tree glows so bright it blinded the darkness.

Reality was split open, swallowing the darkness into it.

Not going down without a fight, the darkness poisoned the tree.

Leaving a trail behind, before being swallowed into the dark abyss.

In the spirit world will darkness dwell, a world befitting a formless king.
