Currently the rich and powerful elite are champing at the bit to take down Iran.
They can't wait to get to war.
Already they are moving the pieces on the chess board for the ultimate battle.
Their private army, the CIA, is getting their men and forces in position.
The propaganda machine known as MSM is ramping up.
Except for alternative media, demonization of Iran is in full force.
Iran is a dire threat, don't you know, to our way of life.
You would think there were Iranian troops amassed on our southern border, or maybe a flotilla of Iranian ships off the coast of San Diego.
No, how about Iranian paratroopers being dropped into Montana?
Such is the paranoia.
In reality, it is the other way around.
We are the ones conducting many of these similar measures against Iran.
Why?
Because Iran has 10% of the world's oil reserve, and we want it.
Moreover, Iran is helping Syria in its quest to maintain its ingegrity.
How dare they?
Syria is ours, right?
Well, we can believe that if we wish.
We can also choose to believe that the world is ours and that we can go anywhere we want and have it.
But if we choose that path, there will be consequences.
It's a big world out there, and other players need oil also.
China, India need oil and they are and more populated than we are.
And, they are closer to the Middle East.
If the US chooses to attack Iran for the purposes of owning and controlling it, India and China will support Russia in defending Iran.
They will have no other choice.
If the US controls Iran, the US will control, through Saudi Arabia and Iran, 32% of the world's oil reserve in these two countries alone.
With this extraordinary capacity, the US will have the ability to control the economies of other nations.
They will also have the ability to bankrupt other oil producing nations like Russia by upping the export of oil which will, of course, lower its cost.
The US is currently betting that other countries will say, okay, that's fine with us.
This is a poor bet.
The countries of Asia - China, Russia and India - will likely conclude that if they don't take a stand now, their economies will never grow beyond a second-class status.
Europe, with the exception of Britain, will sit this one out. Continental Europe, angered by the US breaking a legitimate treaty with Iran, and getting 29% of its oil from Russia, has no desire to antagonize its eastern neighbor.
The results will be bloody and dire for the United States.
China and India have unlimited manpower.
They also have money and arms.
The US will lose this battle and beat a humilating retreat.
The US will lose for the same reason the rabbit outruns the fox. The fox is running for its food while the rabbit is running for its life.
The US grip on world oil will collapse.
The petrodollar will collapse.
Massive inflation will grip the United States.
At war's end the US will have sqaundered 50 trillion dollars making it bankrupt for generations to come.
All of this can be avoided.
Peace is cheaper than war.
