Every morning, when I'm not working,
I go around the garden and my cactus collection,
to see if there are no parasites, diseases, and especially to appreciate the beauty of all its spring blooms!

The Astrophytum Myriostigma kiko is in bloom!
This is my favorite kind of cactus, I have several different ones that ,I will introduce them when become as bloom.
This one is a Japanese cultivar, nicknamed there "tortoiseshell".

(Here is a month ago)

The Japanese are known for secretly producing the most beautiful hybrids of Astrophytum.
I would try in the years to come to pollinate my different cactus,
complicated operation because often the flowering does not intervene all at the same time!
A new challenge for me!

My mamilaria produces more and more flowers,
who make my happiness every day.
I removed it from the direct sun, which he did not appreciate.
Now he is in his right place.

And the babys...
Here, in 1 month time they grew up well !!!

On 3 seeds 1 has sprouted, I still have 2 more in reserve because they are difficult to grow,
I leave you the pleasure of watching her beautiful flower on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edithcolea
