On a canoe-camping trip, I was delighted to find this driftwood tree washed up on the beach just below a set of rapids. Its long, spiky form offered a great foreground to my composition. Just after sunset, I snuck away from my friends at the campfire, and photographed the scene. Without resorting to ND filters or merging multiple exposures, dusk is the best time to experiment with long exposures of moving water.
