Here's the pattern formed by stars over the course of hours, as the earth spins. To get this image, I shot consecutive 30s exposures, and then blended them into one. One of the most difficult parts of astrophotography is finding a dark sky devoid of clouds. Even in rural Ontario where I shot this, where was some light pollution on the horizon.
