Here's an interesting spot at the northern end of the island of Montreal. The lighting from a street light, the clouds, and the calm water turned out great. This was shot with the SMC Pentax 28mm f/3.5, a really nice vintage prime. Although it's not a fast lens, it's quite sharp across the frame, gives good colour, and is really solidly built. I like the manual aperture ring for night-time shooting and light painting. Actually, there are few situations when I don't prefer manually controlling my aperture from the lens. Best of all, I paid next to nothing for this gem at a thrift shop.
