What have I learned?

After countless hours of watching YouTube videos about acrylic painting I decided to unwrap a new canvas and start a new spontainious painting.
I began by creating a simple textured background with the help of the plastic wrapping, just smeared the canvas with some paint, showered it with some water and stuck the plastic against it, waited a few seconds and voila! A simple textured background to get rid of the intimidating white. Naturally what I last watched was what appeared on the canvas! A sleeping Buddha this took me about an hour and was painted on 30x40cm canvas
