Isn't this is how it works ??

I get it, but the Challenge post doesn't say that I can't write about the challenge AND something different. And if it does, I completely missed it. But if it doesn't, well, in that case I didn't break any rules of the Challenge itself, so I should be able to receive an upvote (according to the curators opinion about my post).

But if you write a amazing splinterlands posts then SPL curators will support that

For small and less-know authors, like me, sadly that's very diffult and my only chance to get an upvote is by joining these Challenges.

So, if the Challenge forces me to write only about a specific argument, I have no choice but write only about that, and be silent about what I would really like to write... and imho that's not good, as everyone gives his/her best by writing about what he/she likes!

That wrong all, I think every Hive user know about Splinterlands game so there is not much to do with onboarding new users, we need to go outside this chain and bring new people.

That's exactly why I would like to be able to talk about the game and what I like! Because I post even outside Hive where people may not know so well Splinterlands... and they aren't interested in a ruleset they don't even understand, while they can be interested in knowing how I'm performing with my collection, or know how much they can earn by playing a brawl, or what they can expect from the release of the next set of cards.

When I write my post I try to think also about people outside Hive and how I can bring them here playing Splinterlands.

By the way, thanks for your answer. I really appreciated it and, as I said, if writing about the rulesets is what the Community believe is better for the game, I will do it. I only want to be sure that I can't keep doing what I was doing... because I sincerely believe that I was more helpful to the game with a more personal post.

Thanks again zaku@zaku for your insight! You are the curator of a huge account, so I really appreciate that you took the time to answer my doubts.
