It's strange how sometimes we don't go to places that are so close to us but travel much further afield instead. It happens here as well.

Yeah, this is so true! Quite often in Florence I stumble upon places which are quite famous and I'm like "why have I never been here!?" ahahah meanwhile there are some places where I've been for a few weeks in my whole like and I've seen almost everything there...

I guess that this happens because we always feel we have, and will have, time to see and visit what we have around us, so we procrastinate day after day... which doesn't make any sense, if one think about it, does it?
