Yeah, it would be cool and maybe it could make more people aware of the importance of curating authors that not only post good content, but also are invested into Hive - or at least aren't extracting everything they earn.

In the past I wrote some scripts that, with some little work, might get the job done... but I feel that a project like that needs someone well known by the community to get some traction and have an impact on the chain.

Agreed: this would also make the project easier to manage, because the whitelisted users would act as curators and find themselves the posts that deserve an upvote. The project would only need to check if the post fit the requirements for an upvote and, if yes, calculate the percentage of the upvote according to its own criteria.
