This logic suggests that psychopaths should be denied the right to vote and leadership positions, Since they are disproportionately in positions of authority, this would invert politics - so called "bleeding heart" empaths would rule, and "dispassionate" pragmatists would be excluded from politics and higher corporate positions.
This makes tremendous sense to me, as do most of Harari's ideas.
Buddhist thought believes that compassion is gained through suffering. I advocate leadership by brown skinned mothers, as they have suffered the most; but an objective measurement of suffering, or at least screening for psychopathy, is further recommended.
The most thoughtful people I've met are those who have had to overcome things that we now collectively understand are unfair.
