Here in the Pacific Northwest we've been having horrible windstorms, leaving many communities stranded due to the sheer amount of trees downed on the roadways, of course made even worse with heavy snowfall. Thankfully that tree didn't do any damage!

Great post, I especially adore the cross your Uncle made- absolutely gorgeous!
