Hip-hop or hip-hop music or rap music is a genre of music created in the United States in the 1970s that involves rap techniques, namely speeches voiced through rhythmical rhymes, accompanied by rhythmic background music. This technique then developed as part of hip hop, a cultural branch that has 4 key elements: MCing / rapping, DJing / scratching, breakdancing, and graffiti writing. Sampling and beatboxing are also included as part of hip hop music.
Initially the growth of Hip Hop started from The Bronx in New York City and continues to grow rapidly to the whole world. Hip hop was first introduced by an Afro-American, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five.
