I’m not a big fan of extreme cold either, I got too used to California warmth... But I do remember back in Russia some people would start the swimming season super-early, pretty much as soon as the ice is melted

The lake looks so peaceful like it’s just calling to dive in it, but I imagine it would be like diving into a bucket of ice
