That’s great, I’ve been learning about local edible plants as well, and it’s amazing how many things are edible especially in warmer climates... There are obvious ones (like where I am there is wild currant almost ready to eat right now), but then there are numerous herbs and berries and other stuff that most people simply walk by and they have no idea it’s potential food or medicine...

I grew up going out to forests and fields since age 3 or 4 back in Eastern Europe. My grandpa would rake me there, walking for hours every day, collecting plants

Since then this feeling got into me that forest is home, it’s not alien to us, its not the “strange unknown“ -it’s actually where we naturally belong

I need to do a lot more too

I’m also very behind on my physical training
