“take out the letters” means we have to keep writing the statement over and over again until just some letters (without repetitions) remain? Like in the example you did with “m” first, leaving just the first “m”?

So at the end you are left with M, number 1 and member 9, but what’s the line that crosses? Is that letter “i”?
