My mom was laughing at me for planting tomatoes and sunflowers using seeds I got from leftovers. I mean I actually got tomato seeds from store-bought tomatoes and they are now growing perfectly well in pots... and the sunflower seeds were the ones from the flowers we had last year.

But now I don't even know if it's legal to grow plants from seeds we gather from food or nature, not buy in stores. In the U.S. the stores are still open, we were able to go in and get edible plants and some flowers as well. I wonder if at some point they will close these stores here too
