Any solid proof that this coronavirus is manufactured?
How true is this? I received this photo of a newspaper article from my good friends in Russia. They do not know if this is real. I won’t translate the whole thing, but in the beginning it says the following:
2015. American biologists have created a deadly strain of coronavirus by experimenting with bats, says nature.com. According to the website, the virus can infect humans and result in death. Scientists experimented with a hybrid bat virus on bats from China. They combined SHC014 with SARS virus taken from the lungs of bats, and the end result is said to be able to take many lives [...] The experiments were taking place despite the U.S. government prohibiting experiments that involved SARS and MERS earlier in 2014.
I don’t know if this newspaper is even real. It could be photoshopped for all I know. I am not posting it here as a solid proof of anything. But I believe it deserves to be noted, either as a true thing... or maybe as a trick created by some anti-western Russian-speaking agents.
Who knows what’s really going on?

Yep, it’s there... And my question is what’s the point of purposely creating a hybrid virus in the first place?! To study WHAT? This hybrid wouldn’t just happen in nature by itself without human help. So basically they created a new form of virus that didn’t exist that can now easily infect humans ... for what, unless that was exactly the purpose? For fun? Out of scientific curiosity?
Humans are just weird.
