Was the protest sanctioned by the government? If not, then apply the law just like how they do in the western governments. No need even to do what Macron did like taking out the eyes of the Yellow Vests protesters or what the regime of Elizabeth the Second did imprison two young men for 4 years each for a Facebook post calling for a protest that never happened, or running over the protesters with police 4 x 4 vehicles like Trump police in the USA, or deploying Trump federal forces against the civilians and snatching them from the streets...!
