See, the main target of the sanctions and the entire war of terror are the ordinary people who are always the most vulnerable in any society, not the capable ones, these people don't have the luxury of surfing the net to maintain the cash flow let alone find a way to pay for food or other essentials. Even the capable ones find difficulties paying online for stuff, most sites removed Syria altogether from their list of countries serviced.

This is more of a fear mongering campaign, there's no link at all between the Syrian economy and the US sanctions for the general public, the Syrian Lira has nothing to do with the US dollar or any currency pegged to the US dollar, it's against a functioning economy with reserves converted to Gold in banks in friendly countries, that's it.
