I shared with you a night of wedding ceremonies yesterday.Today I am here to share with you another tradition from that wedding.I can't tell you what the wedding ceremonies and culture of any country are like, but I love showcasing our traditions.

Our traditions are not dead yet.I have seen the same wedding customs since I was a child.Marriage is a sacred thing and sacred bond according to our religion.It is natural for neighbors and friends to celebrate the occasion.A girl and a boy are married in one night, but our ceremony lasts for three days.These three days, our customs are revealed.You saw some scenes yesterday.

Yesterday I shared some wedding night customs and today I'm sharing another important thing that is seen in every wedding.When we marry a girl and bring her home, she celebrates the night with flowers.After one night, the next day, we go to five to six girls' houses to have a party and stay for one night.I mean, we go with the groom.Here the groom is the main one.

When morning comes, after breakfast, the bride's house sends us to the market to buy vegetables, fish, chicken, and milk.Yes, this is one of our wedding traditions.So there were six of us, including the groom.The six of us went to a village market to shop.I shared that shopping moment with you today.It's not just a tradition, it's a fun thing.The bride and groom's house is having fun with us.

We came straight from the newlyweds' house to buy groceries.So we went to a village market and bought milk for the first time.Interestingly, the bride's house gave us a 20-liter jug.They thought we would buy 20 liters of milk but no, we only bought 8 kg of milk🤣.Then we bought a large katla fish which cost $10.Then we bought a chicken. Milk, fish and chicken were the main product.Then we bought vegetables.

After buying enough vegetables, we returned to the bride's house and delivered the products to them.They were happy to see our market and so were we.This is one of the main culture of our Bengali wedding, so I shared it with you.You can see our shopping moments in the shared video.
