I was born in a very small village and I grew up in the countryside.I came from a village where there was only nature, rivers and the calls of birds. Many memories of that traditional village are still etched in my memory.I remember fishing in the river with my father as a child. We had some goats that I sometimes took care of.
At that time in the 90s, there was no sign of a city in the remote villages, so our village used to have a special market once a week.It was a big weekly market and everything was available here. This weekly market was enough for the villagers to buy for the entire week.We would buy the daily necessities for the entire week from the weekly market and bring them home.
Then I was little, I would go to that market with my father and buy traditional rural foods from the market to eat.I have many more memories associated with my father at that market. But today I have left those days far behind.Besides the traditional markets in rural areas are no longer seen as they used to be.The tradition of rural areas is being lost. The remote village is no longer found as before, which I missing.
In reality the villages is no longer as it used to be.It can no longer be called a remote village.Once upon a time, the village was remote and the city was far away.Back then a single weekly market was their main source of daily necessities. However now that the surrounding areas of the village have become more like cities, all daily necessities are easily available so those traditional markets are disappearing.
Although traditional markets have disappeared from the country, but some villages still retain their traditions. Our village has retained that tradition. That traditional market is still held every Friday in our village.Last Friday I went to the traditional market in our village after almost a year. While there I reminisced about the past.Even though our village retains its traditional market, but the market is no longer as crowded as before.
However I reminisced a lot about our traditional market and saw fresh vegetables and fruits from the village.Yesterday I went to the traditional market in the village and saw the traditional foods.I bought a melon and also bought spicy chanachur.Seeing some of the scenes reminds me of those historical scenes.Because my memories are tied to this traditional village market, so I can't forget them.I had a happy moment there.
So today I shared the scenes of our traditional market.I have shared several pictures here and also uploaded a video so I invite you to watch the scenes of our traditional market.Have a wonderful day.
Thank you...
