Same issue was around with Steem, now it's on Hive. "Important people" are posting pretty much only about Hive, then upvoting mostly content about Hive. Then all new users see is posts about Hive.

I can't imagine too many people joining Hive so they can read posts about Hive.

The tag use is terrible, I was hoping communities could help to sort the content better than the tags did, but now most users are posting content only on the biggest communities instead of niche communities. It's a damn shame.
