I think that Iran and its proxies are no longer an existential or serious threat to Israel and that Iran will collapse or have regime change at some point without further Israeli direct military action.

I would caveat this overall perspective by saying that I am not privy to classified info and that maybe an actual threat exists now or will be discovered at some point that will require further direct Israeli military action.

But for the moment Iran is only a threat to the Gulf States and was a political liability to the GOP in the mid terms because the US public does not yet understand the scale or significance of Trump's victory.

Anti-Trump media and Iranian propaganda have hidden the reality.

But it will become clear before the US Presidential election.
