I am not following on unthinkingly with the Israeli government.

Indeed I disagree with many Israeli government policies in this war and other things (like COVID-19 restrictions).

I oppose any aid to Gaza while Hamas holds our hostages. It is treason to give aid to the enemy in wartime.

I oppose any deals with terrorists in wartime for hostage release - this is explicitly prohibited by Jewish law which requires hostages be released by force.

I oppose risking IDF soldier's lives to save Gazan 'civilians". That is immoral and against Jewish law.

The majority of Israelis agree with me on these issues.

My government is not even doing the bare minimum that the vast majority of Israelis demand to permanently destroy all Israel's enemies and ensure Oct 7 can never happen again.

And it is Egypt, Hamas and the governments of The West who are preventing this woman from leaving Gaza, not Israel.

My position is that all Gazans (who are officially refugees) should be voluntarily re-settled elsewhere, far from Israel, in accordance with UNHCR.
