So true!
We saw in the last crisis that paper gold was worth nothing more than paper.
Only real physical gold and real BTC (your keys your crypto) is worthwhile.
Some crypto companies such as BlockFi and Crypto.com are offering attractive interest rates on BTC, ETH etc.
You can withdraw to your own wallet at any time (for flexible deposits) or at the end of a 1 or 3 month term deposit.
What do you think of these?
While there is obviously a counterparty risk, interest rates of up to 8.5% seem a reasonable return for this risk.
Also as a matter of economic theory, a sound crypto based financial system should support borrowing and lending for proper interest rates that represent the true time value of money.
