The US system has all sorts of checks and balances to ensure that massive electoral fraud doesn't happen - they have all failed. The real last straw was SCOTUS failing to hear the Texas case.

A lot of people put false hope on Pence and the objections to Electoral College votes. This was always just political theatre. But instead of calming the people that things were being done properly and objections were being heard, it has enraged them.

Half the country (or more) has lost faith in the system. Trump gave these people hope. Now the genie is out of the bottle.

The Democratic Party, Biden included, were apologists for Antifa & BLM violence by their supporters. Now Trump is doing the same.

But Trump commands far larger numbers of people than BLM & Antifa. Just look at the size of his rallies.

Ask yourself this question:

• Will half the country just forget their grievances now that a few of their unarmed number conducting a peaceful protest have been shot dead by police in the Capitol building and grounds?

• Or will the lesson they learn be to come back armed to the teeth, in even greater numbers and shoot first?

I'm not an American and I wish the political disfunction of the USA was irrelevant to me, but it affects everyone around the world because of America's global reach and the US dollar's reserve currency status.

I don't think this is over.

I think that Trump himself has no interested in leading a coup or a revolution.
Nor did Caesar. But the forces he has unleashed will, in time, find their Octavian.

I don't think that the US Republic, nor its financial system, will survive in their current form for much longer.

I think that this is bullish for crypto.
