I agree with much of what you say.

Israel does not want and does not benefit from US wars in the Middle East.
The US just makes a big mess because it doesn't understand the region and has always been crap at land wars (it is a naval power, not a land power) and asymetric wars.

Israel warned the US against the Iraq war (because it would empower Iran) and the Syrian civil war has turned a border that was peaceful for 40 years into a front line.
Israel has zero interest in Yemen. US involvement is about protecting oil supplies.
