eXode: My entry into the High Value Passenger Challenge | Ecency

Hello Hive Community.

This is my entry into the High Value Passenger Challenge hosted by eXode. eXode is a Space Colonisation Blockchain Game on Hive.

Objective of the Challenge:

Score the highest on the leaderboard... simple???

A leaderboard was launched recently for version D46/D47 Evacuation gameplay

You can see that @apprentice001 is just at the bottom of the screen, but you can scroll down further. Captain @slabakbg is currently leading with a score of 3293.

The Prizes

First Place: Kumicho (legendary)
Second Place: Octohome (Epic)
Third place: eXode Alpha Booster Pack
Fourth Place: x2 Rare cards
Fifth Place: x2 Common Cards
Participation: Wins a common (contract) card.

I am most eXocited about the first prize, The Kumicho!

It is a legendary card and a very Awesome Card. However, I am currently 6th of the leaderboard, but I will not give up.

Below is my Setup and Strategy and I will be refining it:

My EVAC Setup

So you can pretty much input the cards you want, but for this challenge there is a standard deck. However, this screen gives you a taste of what is to come at Version E.

It was very involved so I did not have time to take screenshots in the game. However, I did capture this screenshot, and will share my strategy.

So there are basically 10 people that you can utilise - 3 Officers and 7 crew members.

My strategy is the 2 - 5 - 3 strategy.

What does that mean?

I keep 2 people in the cockpit
5 people to load fuel and upgrade hyperdrive
3 people to load cargo and escort citizens (All armored up)

Why???

2 people are placed in cockpit, because alien attack can occur anytime, and you will know what the alarm sounds, and you start panicking and send crews to the cockpit. It would be too late by then and your integrity points will fall to 0 quite quickly. Hence, I keep 2 people in cockpit on standby ready to activate shield anytime. You may argue that I am not utilising the crews properly and that is probably why I am not getting a high score... exosad

5 people are in charge of loading fuel and upgrading hyperdrive because it is crucial to evacuate.
I sometimes have 3 people upgrading hyperdrive and 2 people loading fuel because upgrading hyperdrive is generally more important.

There are currently only 3 sets of armor and weapons, hence I have assigned those to users who will be loading cargo and escorting citizens as they are often in the most danger (facing hostile citens)
